In einer bras\u00c3\u00adlianischen Untersuchung wurden die Daten von 2.064 Personen (57% weiblich, Alter 49 +\/- 8 Jahre) analysiert. Als kurze Schlafdauer galt eine gemessene Schlafzeit &lt;6 Stunden, eine Schlaf-Apnoe wurde bei einem Apnoe-Hypopnoe-Index > 15\/h diagnostiziert, 33% hatten eine Schlaf-Apnoe, und 27% eine kurze Schlafzeit. Tageschl\u00c3\u00a4frigkeit trat mit 1,45 -facher H\u00c3\u00a4ufigkeit bei denjenigen mit kurzer Schlafdauer auf, aber nicht geh\u00c3\u00a4uft bei denjenigen mit Schlafapnoe. Ein hoher Blutdruck war bei Patienten mit Schlafapnoe 1,3-fach h\u00c3\u00a4ufiger, erh\u00c3\u00b6hte Blutfette 1,25-fach.
