Unmittelbar nach der Reise war die Schlafdauer etwa 12 Minuten k\u00fcrzer, normalisierte sich aber innerhalb von zwei Tagen. Die Schlafstruktur (ber\u00fccksichtigen muss man nat\u00fcrlich die Unsicherheit bei der Ermittlung der Schlafststadien durch das verwendete Instrument) normalisierte sich erst nach zwei Wochen. Schlafunterbrechungen traten eher bei Reisen in \u00f6stlicher Richtung und beim Queren mehrerer Zeitzonen auf.
