Alle Untersuchten hatten keine Diabetes oder eine Herzinsuffizienz. Mittels 18F-FDG PET-CT) und CT der Coronararterien wurde die entz\u00fcndliche Aktivit\u00e4t der Gef\u00e4\u00dfw\u00e4nde bestimmt (die zu Beginn der Studie bei allen sehr \u00e4hnlich war). Unter Liraglutid nahmen die Untersuchten um 6,2 (Range: -3,6 bis -8,7) kg ab, unter CPAP um 2,7 (Range: -0,5 bis +6) kg zu, unter der Kombination 3,7 (Range -0,4 bis -5,9) kg ab. Der AHI fiel in der CPAP-Gruppe von 48\u00b120 auf 3\u00b13\/, unter der Kombination von 48\u00b117 auf 5\u00b15\/h, unter Liraglutid allein war er nahezu unver\u00e4ndert. Nur CPAP f\u00fchrte zu einer Reduktion der entz\u00fcndlichen Gef\u00e4\u00dfinnenwandver\u00e4nderungen, zu einer Besserung der endothelialen Dysfunktion und zu einer Reduktion der CRP-Wertes  um -1,65 (Range -3,65 bis + 2,6) mmol\/l.
