Eine Metaanalyse fasste die Ergebnisse von sieben Studien mit 210 Patienten im Alter von 47-69  Jahren mit einem Apnoe-Hypopnoe-Index von 21-39\/h und einem Body-Mass-Index von 24-33 kg\/m\u00b2 zusammen. Nach meistens 3 Monaten t\u00e4glichem Training war der Apnoe-Hypopnoe-Index nicht signifikant ver\u00e4ndert, aber die Tagesschl\u00e4frigkeit gemessen mit der Epworth-Skala ging um 4,45 Pkt. zur\u00fcck, und auch die subjektive Schlafqualit\u00e4t war besser.
